How Two CoWorkers Became Roommates

Sonya and I were coworkers back in Walt Disney World at Sum of All Thrills, and it was absolutely fantastic. I decided to apply for the Disneyland College Program, and somehow convinced Sonya to apply with me. We both got in, and that began the trip of a life time. We both decided that we only wanted to live with each other, in a studio apartment (which we got, thank goodness).

We had worked together for a while, and we were kind of close, but nothing beats how close we are now. Quite honestly, it's been a trip seeing how far we've come form where we were. It's crazy to think that we were just two strangers who worked together, and then we moved LITERALLY across the country to live with each other. I love it.

It's funny because we couldn't be two more different people, but at the same time, we have so many things in common. So many aspirations and goals that we both want to reach, and so many dreams that we want to achieve, whether it be together or separately, but achieving them is the dream, nonetheless. I couldn't think of a better person to move out here with because of how supportive she is - not only as a friend but as a roommate as well.

While we're very similar, we're also very different. One of Sonya's favorite past times is to meet characters in the parks, and I'm not the biggest fan. However, friendships (or any relationship in general) are all about compromise, and that's exactly what we do. She shares with me Spanish words, and stuff from her home, and I do the same with her. It's the best of both worlds, and it's the greatest thing in the world.
