It's Christmas Time (in Disney World)!

Well, not anymore, but a few weeks (or you know, about a month or so ago) it was Christmas time and I was still in Walt Disney World. One of the most special things about Disney World is how the holidays take over and transform the resort and parks. They go all out for Halloween and Christmas, but Christmas especially. It takes over and they really do try and make it the happiest place on Earth.

Christmas time hit Disney World back in November and stayed until January 5th(ish), and I wouldn't have it any other way. It was so happy and festive, it was hard not to be overjoyed when looking at all the decorations or see how everything was decorated for the holidays. Being away from home was definitely hard, but so worth it.

One of my roommates and I went with my two best friends resort hopping. Little did I know they were all planning a giant surprise for me for Christmas behind my back (it was possibly the greatest Christmas present ever). We went to as many resorts as we could in one night, and were pleasantly surprised with the decorations (and how many we could actually get to in one night).

We visited The Contemporary, The Polynesian, The Grand Floridian, and The Wilderness Lodge.  Four different hotels in one night, with a ton of time spent at each. We walked around, talked, looked at the different hotels, and grew closer as friends. We looked for each gingerbread house or gingerbread building type thing. Looking at the Christmas decorations with the people who have become family to me means the most to me. It's a memory that I will forever hold in my heart.

The awesome thing about it, is that most of the hotels have a different Christmas tree in front of them or inside of them, and they're decorated in theme. Not only that, but each theme park had a Christmas tree outside of it decorated to the theme parks as well. My favorite theme park had to be Animal Kingdom's Christmas tree. It was done so beautifully and had all my favorite characters around it.

If spending the holidays in Disney, or even part of the holidays, is something that's feasible for you to do, I would suggest you do it. Even if it is for only one or two days. It was beautiful and something I'm so glad that I was able to experience.
