Take A Chance & Choose To Dance (Or, you know go to a different college)

This summer not only does my little sister turn 18 years old (YIKES!!!) but she also graduates from high school (DOUBLE YIKES!!). Ever since she applied I secretly wanted her to follow in my footsteps and attend LSU, but she's picked to go to another school that is more suited for her program.

The most typical picture of us...ever
You see, she wants to be a nurse. And while LSU is pretty good with some of their programs, she'd have to go to New Orleans to attend nursing school after applying in her second year of college. I talked about it a little bit for her, and honestly her best bet would to not go to LSU.

While I'm a little sad about her not wanting to go to the same college as me (just wanted her to stay close!), I love that she's making her own decision and really has a plan for what she wants to do. I can't wait to see how well she does, and can't wait for her to become a nurse so she can take care of me all the time. I am the accident prone child you know!

Do you have any siblings? Did y'all attend the same schools?

  1. such a cute sister team! ive got a brother and we didn't go to the same schools, but we did do a ski season instructing together which was SO awesome! x

  2. loved this!

  3. Nope, don't have any siblings :( But if I did, I would have wanted them close by. So I completely understand where you are coming from.

  4. I'm so excited that I found you! I live in Baton Rouge, I'm a nurse, and I graduated from southeasterns nursing program. I'm a newbie blogger and haven't found any Louisiana blogs. I look forward to following you!

Thanks for saying hello! I love hearing from all of you & reply back to everyone as quickly as I can! xoxo
